In the heat of the day, he sat still.
His eyes with the look of determination, the look to kill.
Like a gun fired, he pounces out of his spot.
He sprints down the path, right on the dot.
He picks off his prey one by one.
Chasing down his dinner, he was ready to run.
The rattling winds cheer him on.
He could run until dawn.
His finish line is nearing.
His target is fearing.
It tries to run,
But the Cheetah has won.
