The Caged Bird Sings

Secrets,
Kept at arms length.
Not spoken but felt
Emotions build a barrier,
A box in which you’re engulfed in.
Like a cage in which the bird sings,
Beautiful doves cooing the sounds of their distress,
It has become an accustomed sound to a passerby.
A revel to stop at.
You seek pain in the beautiful,
Has it become a passion to see the great struggle?
To focus on the strong,
And to finally
Break them.

Some people in this world are so cruel as to try and pick on the ones that are different. Or the happiest, and that is becomeing more and more acceptable. I find it appauling, and I would only love to say this to everyone affected, I'm sorry. You are beautiful.
