A hue of pink surrounds the room as the sunny skies shine
Many pieces of torn magazines attached onto the walls
Drinks and wrapper from previously eaten food
currently lay on the floor
But do not block the path to the door
Comfort from the piece of furniture and a soft fluffy cushion
warmth given by the big brown soft material
While light keeps the fear away
I’ve spent 6 years in this same exact place
Yet somehow it always makes me feel safe
