The flower that blooms in the face of adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.

I laid my weapon down and now.. now well I really even breathe

In truth I dont know what really led me into that answer

One second it is whispers between friends

And the next it is bombs and gunshots

Usually the casualites are small

Not this time though

This time death has life by the throat and is slowly tightening its grip

There is blood everywhere but no one seems to notice a single thing

They tell me it is all in my head and I am left more angry than in the blue

Suddenly it is like everyday is a war

My room is the panic room

My mind is the control center and this betrayal has it so twisted I am left offering myself as a lamb

There... Go ahead steal my story

I am in love

I am love with a solider

But he doesnt know just how deep my love is and neither of us seem to know that we are warriors just yet

And to me love is such a silly thing

Love is dirty

Dirty like a battlefield

But as elognant as a game of war

Both sides trying to out fox the other

Which only adds to the steam

He is stronger than me

Anyone with eyes can see that

He holds the piece for my defeat

But while he plays with pure force I play with deciet

His force comes in ways that to others would seem petty

They come in waves of warm sun filled smiles

They come in screamed song lyrics in a parking lot

They come in a laugh that is so full of laugh that not even the dark could smother it

It comes in how his eyes can be as sneaky but playful as a cat's

But this mouse didnt fall for any cat

And that cat is smart enough to pick a mouse that keeps him on his toes

Other things may make him bleed but I will never be one

It is only a game

He is a solider

Strong

Safe

Secure

Pure

I on the other hand am a rebel

Insecure

Hostile

Weak

Dirty

But he loves it

As he salutes his CO's

I am defying mine

If both sides only want this war to stop

Than why fight at all?

Nevermind that is a solider's game

I am only playing by ear and pen

But this has taught me to love.... For he is my solider

But this is a forbidden love

So we wrap ourself's in thorns

Only the other knows what to avoid

But there are days love fails and we are left bloody and soar

He will never weep.. at least not in front of me

For this sick war has claimed many of his own

When I learned how many my cheeks were left covered in salty streams

Since when is being a solider a dream?

What world do we live in that this is seen as okay?

Since a hundred voices will read i will cut this scene but before I do

My solider know I am laying here, dying for you

For you are my solider and I am your rebel
