We Are Vanishing
We are
vanishing,
vanishing,
gone.
We are nothing.
We are but tiny speckles of dust
that sparkle like diamonds
that sparkle like stars vanishing,
exploding,
gone.
We are nothing in the vast abyss,
a dot among the glorious swirls and plumes of space.
We are but one part,
one twinkle in the cluster of jewels,
shining less bright than the rest.
We are but one life
one world of molten blues and lush greens
in the possibility of hundreds.
We are irrelevant
We will vanish,
are vanishing,
...then gone.
