Doubt
You say you’re not pretty
Complaining about your body
You think your depression and anxiety makes you ugly,
But it doesn’t
It adds to your personality
You call them flaws
While I call them perfections
There’s no flaw to you
Everything about you is the sign of perfection
All the negative things you say about yourself,
Hurt me because I can’t help you
I always fail at cheering you up
I can see through those fake smiles,
But I let it slide because you’ll feel even worse
One day I hope you can see yourself through my eyes,
One day I hope you realize how beautiful you are
