Screens
Reflections on the glowing screens,
the bearer of our lives.
Loners in the bustling lunchroom,
yet not hearing any of the commotion.
So depressing. We are the
oblivious child, lost without it.
We don’t notice it, but
the world goes on, without us.
Looking up from the screen,
the true view of a lifetime.
Not the view of fiction, imagined
pixels with minimal meaning.
Looking up from technology,
the beautiful view of a lifetime.
