A leaf in the wind
One day we will fall out of their grip
And be swept away by adulthood
Sometimes flinging us to unimaginative heights
Over trees and rivers and
then responsibility start dragging me down
To the lowest cannons and ditches
I noticing everyone else around me
Adulthood gathering them up seeing their
bright red, orange, and yellow
So that they get to soar high
While I am left fluttering on the ground
