A Single Light
A single light
burning in the night
like a lighthouse revealing rocks,
leading boats to safety
The light leads me to my door,
safe from things unseen
The lighthouse saving ships,
and leading them to shore
One porchlight in a city
Keeping me here, just one more
night.

This is a bit on the darkside, but I'm afraid of the dark, and hate going outside at night. I need to keep my porchlight on.
