I must know my love

how true are your words? 

Are they loud?

Are they silent?

 

I must know my dear

how loving is your touch?

Do your fingers only roam in greed?

Or do they carress

 

I must know my handsome knight

do you feel?

Do you feel the same as me

the sharp stabs of betrayal?

 

I must know

how long?

How long did your silent words

lay between us

 

I must know 

how long

did your caress lie to me?

 

I must know

how long did it take you?

To stab my loving heart 

with the sharp knife of betrayal

 

Oh, my love my dear. 

I know you no longer
