Quietness of the room.
Hot air circulating.
Boys sleeping in their seats.
Teachers come and go.
The day begins at 7:20 a.m.
Time ticks away.
Seven hours and ten minutes later.
The final bell releases us.
First day over.
Two more to go.
It's not that bad,
as she thought.
Loudness of the room.
Cold air circulating.
Boys pushing their way out.
Teachers shove us away.
