Spinning Lies
January 19, 2016
In the night sky the stars twinkle like flying lights,
But down below imagined slights destroy happy lives,
We waste our time on telling lies and spinning webs,
of deceit and sometimes we feel inside,
a regret that shows we might have changed but we're generally still
the same.

We waste our time on telling lies and spinning webs,of deceit and sometimes we feel inside. I think this is my favorite part. You did a wonderful job I really love your work! Keep up the good work :)

Lovely, I like how you focus on the brutal truth of this world, things that we, as the human race need to come together to fix. Ah, that'd be nice if it were possible. Nonetheless, I think this would be an interesting song. ^_^

Lovely poem, very intriguing, could expand on the concept, but good job.
I like to freewrite most of the time. Some of these will end up in songs eventually.
