The blow of the wind

The singing of the birds

The flow of the river

The rustling of the leaves

Her fight lost in the beauty

Her light found in the sky

Her frustration lost in the serenity

Her inspiration found in the flowers

She no longer had to hide

She no longer had to close in on herself

She could let go

She could be free

It was a haven

It was a home

It was an escape

It was a place to call her own

There, the wind felt her break

There, the birds heard her voice

There, the river healed her pain

There, the leaves gave way to her light

The hidden place watched her grow

The hidden place, she would never show
