Reflections
Jade eyes pierce me throughout the night
Penetrating the vast void of my silence
I wish my eyes would tell a story
One of dead wise men far greater than I-
Jaded eyes now filled with fright,
You stare through me because I'm not truly there
You don't dare to leave although you're not really theirs.
I find myself deprived of any trace of solidity.
Judging eyes recognize my own tonight,
My smile is lost to me.
I vitrify as I reach the surface once again,
The light is blinding by the time I say my goodbyes.
