Raining
Rain
Dancing down upon the world
Tiny droplets falling like blessings from God
Not tears
Rain is happy
Comforting
Falling asleep to the steady drumming of droplets against my window
Can compare to no lullaby
The whooshing of wind and water as harmonic as a symphony
Waking up to the beauty of gray sky and dancing droplets
So much more gorgeous than the glare of sunlight through my blinds
Tapping against the windows, roof, car door
As if reminding me that it’s all going to be okay
When it rains
I am refreshed, relieved, reassured
Soothed by the rhythm of watery falling stars
When it rains
Tiny droplets falling like blessings from God
Not tears
Rain is comforting
