Peaceful rain happening
all across the city.
At the---
harbor,
railroad tracks,
amusement parks,
mega mall.
Graffiti covered by a
sheet of mist.
Everyday events flooded
by each and every raindrop.
The entire day left to the
world, not us.
The beat of this steady
rhythm was heard all around.
All around until finally
it disappeared.
Everything was quiet.
The beat was lost,
until next time.
