If we don't blow ourselves up, the future will be wonderful!-Stan Lee

Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the house
Only one creature was stirring
And it was not quite a mouse
No stockings were hung by her chimney with care
But she hoped that St. Nicholas would soon come back here
The elves were nestled all snug in their beds
Visions of toy making danced in their heads
She sat all alone in her old rocking chair,
Watching and waiting and knitting with care
She wondered when she would hear that familiar clatter
She knew he was out there just getting fatter
Eating the cookies and milk all night long
Goading his sleigh to go right along
Squeezing down chimneys against all reason
As if he had some strange power this season
She looked out the window, feeling somewhat alone
Through the glass the moon's light shone
She looked at the now lonely place known as the stables
That usually housed creatures only spoke of in fables
No Dasher, No Dancer, No Prancer nor Vixen
No Comet, No Cupid, No Donner nor Blitzen
She sat there alone knitting more Christmas sweaters
And sorting through mountains of old Christmas letters
The one night a year when he wasn't here
Just carried away by eight magic reindeer
When outside the window She heard a small noise
A sleigh appeared, looking fresh out of toys
Then he said this as he rode down, descending from flight
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
The same old thing that was said through the times
But then she figured that it would do, so long as it rhymes
