"Never say good bye, because good bye means going away, and going away means forgetting."-Peter Pan

Hold myself together
You always whisper it hurts you when I hurt myself,
never had that before.
I love you dearly,
but I can't love you,
I don't even love myself.

Eyes clear with tears,
skin red with demons.
I'm so sorry this happened
again.
I'm a monster, don't look at me.
Why do you love a monster such as this?
Lashing tongue claims to hate you.
Claws rip at your caring heart,
crushing it.

I'm so sorry,
please leave before I hurt you more.
Please don't leave.
Lying eyes that swear I'm ok, don't need you.
Please see past this.
Why do you love a monster such as me?

Such a dreamer, you inspire me.
Such a dreamer I could never be.
Monster, an anchor,
drag me six feet under.
You beg me to stay and I tell you to leave.
The monster is me.
To say I love you out loud is a paradox.
Monsters can not love.
Why do you love a monster such as me?
