I'm afraid of losing people who I care about
The "what if's" haunt me all the time.
For if I hurt another soul
Who walks out my life
I would feel crushed
And I would feel ashamed
But at least I'd be able to feel
At least I'd be able to use my mouth
To pray for strength and hope
And at least I'd still be able
To look up at the stars at night
And admire the complexity of the universe
