Look around
Countries are fighting
Innocents are dying
The men who fought for us come home filled with dread
Sit in boxes their eyes dead
Teens starve themselves to look “beautiful”
Their bodies so skinny its unforgettable
Turn the corner kids are dealing
Drowning their problems in alcohol with a sinking feeling
Trees are being uprooted hope is breaking
Slowly like the sunset our precious Mother Earth fading
