Figure It Out
Why am i writing this?
-answer that question.
What is the hidden motive behind this;
the thoughts and memories beyond the words?
What is the point?
what are the feelings
I am trying to express
with words like
Ruby red apples
and
frozen blue skies
and
notebooks filled with empty memories
and
glasses smudged with dirt
and
death waiting on warm afternoons.
Nothing!
There is nothing behind them,
just a random
jumble of things.
They have no purpose in this poem.
They mean nothing.
Analyse this.
Try to find a meaning.
Do it
Figure out my thoughts,
dig through my mind.
Probe and prod,
find the purpose.
I bet you can’t.
THERE IS NO HIDDEN MEANING!
THERE IS NO POINT TO THIS POEM!
It’s been made to appease,
there is no purpose,
the words mean nothing.
