It doesn't fade
Yeah sticks and stones would break our bones
but thats nothing compared to the words they said to us
I sat next to this kid named Gus
he didn't believe in the world above
so crosses were put on his desk
the teachers turned a blind eye to his cries
and fingered the ones on their chests
the kids forced him to convert
his mothers tears was all he saw before she left him to a nanny
despite his child Danny and his wife Sally
he still worries they may come
so every Sunday he goes to church even thought
the past bullies are no where to be seen
still he went every Sunday
afraid if he didn't they would make him pay
no matter how much they pleaded
his worry won't go away
his face a never ended scowl
They though it would fade
but, it doesn't fade
he made stars for the top of the tree he didn't keep
he boarded windows and scared at every shadow
he slowly decade inside his spirit long gone
his story sad truth be told
but just remember the moral is
don't bully cause it doesn't fade
