"7&7 Makes 14 Colors"
Blue
My favorite color.
The sorrow I feel.
Green
The land that I call home.
The sickness of reality that plagues me.
Turquoise
The gentle ocean that I swim in.
Forgotten memories that I never wanted to forget.
Yellow
Sunshine that keeps me warm.
The color of my mother's hair that abandoned me.
Orange
Friends at school that make me laugh.
The happiness that I never knew.
Red
The color of my pretty hair.
The sacrifices I was forced to make.
Pink
My girlish fun side.
The childhood that was taken from me.
Purple
My imagination that creates beautiful works of art.
Tears that I just can't cry.
Brown
My animal friends.
The grave where I buried my past.
Grey
My soft, hearted nature.
Depression that makes it hard for me to be my true self.
Black
Peace that I long for.
The demons that torture my mind and soul.
White
My invisible wings that no one can see.
My heart chained inside a cage.
Silver
My dreams that I live in.
The warm, kind family I never had.
Gold
The light in my heart.
Love that I never once felt.

Color is the one thing that says me! I use it to create things and to understand things. I used color to describe me and my life in this poem. The first line under each color is the positive color in me and the second line is the negative color in me. Whether you choose to believe what I wrote is up to you, but I tell you everything in this poem is the truth about me.
