Why do we have to be so far apart?
I’m all on my own,
Nowhere to go…
Stranded…
Lost.
Sometimes I wish things were different
Maybe you’d still be here.
I can’t comprehend what your silence is proclaiming.
As your daughter, it should be clear to me
Your love should be obvious to the human eye…
But it’s not…
All those words you said…
Why daddy, why?
Am I really that bad?

This poem is as personal as it gets with me. Four years ago my dad and I got into a HUGE argument and since that day he hasn't contacted me...
