Sometimes, I sit.

Sit and look at this world.

World of opposites, and paradoxes.

The way the moon is, it should block the Sun

at least a bit.

But it doesn't.

We don't know why people yawn.

And people still like to believe we're alone in this big universe

A universe of even more paradoxes.

Living things are supposed to be more beautiful

than those that are dead.

But dead stars,

shine brighttest.

So sometimes,

I look at the puny human world,

of tiny opposites,

that just about amount to nothing in the long run,

of the universe.

I look and wonder why God hasn't smooshed this whiny little planet,

that can't even settle disputes over

"Who bombed who first".

This puny,

insignificant planet,

that whines and cries,

is just as annoying,

as it is weirdly beatiful.

It's funny how paradoxes work that way.
