You Are To Me
Sparkles and glitter,
Butterflies that flitter.
This is what you are to me.
Shiny and bright,
Greater than light.
This is who you are to me.
Love, you're all that is good to me.
Darkness and terror,
Heartbreak and chaos.
You are neither. I am all.
People say that opposites attract.
I must be your shadow.
Someone trapped in the dark.
Yet, without the light,
Without you, how do I,
A simple shadow, exist?
I do not. In a world without
Light or love, there can be no
Dark or hate.
For, there is nothing
Without something.
