Green Tea

I like the bitter taste of green tea
Because it’s refreshing in this sugar-sweet world
Where everything’s perfectly perfect
Sweet and happy and wonderful
But really, the world isn’t like that
The world’s sour sometimes
And isn’t always yummy
You can’t always coat the unpleasant things
With honey and fluffy icing that makes everything taste delightful
Because that’s fake
I like the bitter taste of green tea
Because it isn’t fake
It’s real
