i don't quite understand
how winter fades to summer
and frost becomes flowers
but i am still here
suffering in my quiet kingdom
a slave to the heir that has trapped me
in this never-ending winter

 

i am the bare trees
the frozen ground
all because you were my sun
and you left me shivering.
