Monotony
This everchanging love of mine
Polluting my vision, I miss all the signs.
I hate you tonight and I want you the same
As if you can't tell when my color drains.
When my color drains and my life turns bland,
When this cold sweat drips from writing hands
This narcoleptic voice turns to built-up shrieks.
This jaded lifestyle will leave me dead-beat.
When I'm left dead-beat I'll be good and gone,
Only existing to replay our songs.
Empty shell of a shallow love,
I can only pray to be sent above.
