From the soul
Vibrant colors. Purples and greens
flowing, encasing your body.
A direct replica of yourself. An internal shadow.

The soul is designed.
Each unique. Patterned like a Vera Bradley
swatch of cloth.

When we write. The internal shadow
cascades from our fingers to the paper.
A Niagra Falls of lyrics.

And we grow.
Sprouting like a sunflower. Following the star
we’ve now found in ourselves.
When we share, our colors seep from
every pore and opening while we
expose our souls to the world.

Transform from the duckling into the swan,
every fibre inside shaking and racing
to fly and spread.

From the tips of our fingers to our toes.
The words spill out when we speak.
And our colors explode through the room.

Our hearts on our sleeves,
No one is left uneffected.

The Vera Bradley of our spirit has now
latched onto that of another’s.

Bringing your words to life.
Encasing the world in letters.
Opening the eyes of mother nature
and her children to the beauty
of the soul.
