The Mountain

The sun rays peeking through my goggles,
As we climb to twelve thousand feet,
Is a great way to start off the day.
Riding the powder,
Sneaking in between trees and flying off cliffs,
Makes my worries disappear.
Climbing through the dense snow to the top of the peak,
Weighing me down 10 pounds I finally reach my destination.
Seeing for miles,
I feel invincible.
Gliding through the trails,
With my best of friends,
Makes a great day on the slopes in Colorado.
