I hate you truly. Truly I do.
The bees I spray with the garden hose
hate you.
The fibers at the center of my Christmas tree
hate you.
The third string on my father’s guitar
hates you.
The insults I shout
hate you
but can’t bear to hurt you.

I wrote this poem as an english assignment for my english teacher.  this poem is based off of the poem, "Hate poem" by Julie Sheehan
