First time
The first time I felt you, I didn’t know what you were
you squeezed so tightly, not allowing me to breathe
all choked up, words came out in a tangle
you shocked me like electricity, who knew I’d feel this way
I could feel the fluttering of butterflies in my stomach
a tingle zig zagged from my head to my toes
I was like a shy little girl, meeting someone new
so afraid of what would happen next
I opened up, shared all my secrets
gave all my trust, allowing you to breathe my ora
you changed my outlook, gave me a different meaning
I felt a different kind of life, this was the first time I felt you
