"Why is there war?"

Boom! I hear the sound of a gun
I look up in the sky and glance at the sun
I question why all this is done
I wonder why so many died
And why did they not just hide
Why can’t both countries be on the same side?
The bullet grabs so many men
Way more than just ten
One of the men was my friend Ben
The bodies are like a pile of dust
The leaders were a piece of rust
War is just a complete bust
