Poetry
Poetry is as simple as the way your hair feels through my fingers
Softer as the feel of your palm against my skin, warm, tingles
Easier than the way your name tastes on my tongue
Sweeter than the sound of your breathing, rustling the bed sheets as you sleep
Lovely as the fit of your fingers between mine,
As the heat of your arms
As the thoughts in your mind
But not even poetry can be as simple as the way
That
I
Love
You.
