Soilder

She is a fragile piece of glass,
delicate and breakable.

She tries to be strong
she doesn’t let people see

She tries to hide
but the scars are too deep.

When people ask she says nothing
She smiles and says it’s okay.

She thinks she can hold the world
But the weight is too much on her shoulders

She can feel herself breaking
but she can’t stand to disappoint

So she marches on like a solider
trying to keep her form
This solider tries to be brave,
while she fights other’s battles

This solider is loyal
this solider is a supporter.

At the end of the day, every solider reflects
at the end of the day, she feels empty
she feels nothing

She helps others constantly
while none help her
She spends herself on others
more than herself

She is empty and solitary.
She is fragile and breakable,
she is like a piece of glass.

This poem is about a girl who tries to help everyone and not let anyone down but never helps herself or asks anyone else for help
