I felt serene

musings melting

into elation

 

I stretch up to space

my mind only yearning to be there

 

kneeling

feeling strengthened

but never strong

fingers reposed on the wooden bench,

I tell myself, "Reach the sky,"

and maybe I could

 

but a mere human,

I'm Grounded
