Black and White

I look out my window
to find a dark world,
turning away
I wish for color.
Why is it dark?
Why is it sad?
All I wanted was answers,
in this colorless world.
I turn back around,
double checking for color,
and far, far away
there is a speck of yellow.
The day might not be ruined,
But what is it?
I will never know,
but one thing I do know
is that it is bright and beautiful
in this colorless world
