Friend, such an overused word
I wish it wouldn`t be
Because it doesn`t need to be
Friend, a random person put under this title on your Facebook page?
Friend, someone who comes over to your house to cook chicken and season it in sage?
Friend, someone who sees you mocking a little girl and tells you to stay away?
Friend, someone who cheers you up even in your darkest days?
Friend, always

I was upset because I did not have any real friends, and I did not know what to look for in a person to determine the quality of them. I have always wanted a true friend, but now I know why I do not have one: because everyone has been used up by fake people. Friend is an overused word.
