1:00 AM ruminations are not always the sanest
Although I have heard writing is best written drunk
Everything suddenly, a great idea, as you’re vainest
Tipsy yet so fearless like that fear of fear has sunk

The error we err sometimes, ‘tis this too literal
Of an approach; oft what is meant, you see, is not said
Oft what is said, you see, is not true of what is meant 
Stark truth unfold: too many times words have misled

Yes, ‘tis constructive to hear of faults and flaws
But feels much nicer to hear of reasons to adore
I love you is great, sure and yet I love you because
You always see the best in me is just ecstasy galore

Ask for or to await love, an arrogant presumption

When of words you have one, you want more

And then jaw-dropping epiphany struck
Much like the shaking Earth a while ago
That, impressions on the mind are easily gone
And dead and forgotten and dismissed so

A soul that touches leaves a streak forever to
Remain. A scar, a cherished tattoo, a mark
And these all fluxed make you who you are
Lights blaring and lighting you up in the dark

Unlike some, who pen to be read, I write to infer:
The deepest, darkest secrets of this silent soul
‘Tis for myself to discover opinions that differ
And pesky perceptions that make me whole

Random is by definition: Lacking any certain order
My thoughts, flitting freaks of nature: randomness at best.
All the same, each link of the chain sound and strong
However the sensibility, cannot be put to the test
