Time Transfixed

Do you see him,
As he finds his way in?
Passing across the halls,
and moving through the walls.
‘till he finds his way,
to a happy hearth.
Have you heard him,
on the man’s unseen train?
He could never be found,
since he doesn’t make a sound.
and ’tis a good thing,
For he won’t want awakening
Do you know,
Why he is here?
This mythical man,
has a mythical plan,
and behind his jovial mask
he has a jovial task.
But what I must tell you quick,
Is that this man is quite like Saint Nick.
