I shall sail upon my nameless surf, to find the what-if to find what it is all worth.
And strive to stay afloat on the waiting tide, to locate you--my almost-bride.
And search tirelessly day and night to again cherish the luminous light.
And on your brine, I urge you to find an isle;
I will lurk in the waters; until I find you, I will remain in exile.
For shades of despair tackled my heart when reaper's wall forced us apart.
And the days of our split shall be limited and small, for you have already climbed his wall;
and for years I have suffered, foolishly avoiding his call.
And to death my soul has long been owed;
And to your fate, tonight I shall venture down a parallel road.

This is a piece that I wrote over a year ago, and in all honesty I had forgotten about it. That is until I was cleaning out my files on my computer and found it. I figured, why not share it?
