I Remember
I remember when we knew each other and we were friends
I remember playing in the woods building tree forts
I remember going out at night to play on the school's playground
And running through the neighborhood, ding-dong-ditching our neighbors
I remember bonfires in my backyard
I remember the terrifying ghost stories we told at them
I remember spending everyday with each other
Even though you have left, and I am still here
I remember all of our curious adventures in all of those droll days.
But my favorite memory's yet to come
