Peacemaker.
The Second Time we hung out
In my opinion
Was one of the most awkward days of my life.
We went to see a movie
Where the man character
Has to save everyone
But what they really need to do
Is be saved from him.
You brought your friends
And I brought mine.
We hardly talked.
You joked around during the movie
With your friends, of course.
And I sat there
Feeling pathetic.
Your confidence is one thing
I find appealing
And wish I had.
At the end of the night
you left after saying goodbye
And I went home
Wishing I could have a re-do
Wishing I wasn't so awkward
Wishing I could see you again.
