One Little Lie
They are the only ones who ruin things. I am the only one who can stop them. One little lie with harsh words and false understandings. One that can affect everything. One change in the truth told by the liars of the world. In the halls, I can hear them, but I just walk and don’t trust these sounds.
Their words are believable. They build brick walls between friendships. They grow bigger and they grow more complicated and grab the liar by his scrawny arm and drag him further into darkness, with violent words and never loosening their grip. This is how they grow.
Let one forget his reason for being, they’d all crash like dominos, each on top of each other. Lie, lie, lie, they say when I think. They lure.
When I am too confused and too worried to keep going, when I am the scissors against the rock. When there is nothing left to believe. One who grew despite consequences. One who ruins and does not forget to ruin. One whose only reason is to grow and grow.
