Atlas
The stars.
They’re beautiful aren’t they?
Looking at all of them knowing that not a single one is the same,
That they’re all different.
In that way they’re like humans.
Except…
When we look at the stars we see beautiful lights in the sky so high
we don’t see what happens to us.
down here on land we see people doing different things.
people don’t look at the stars as beauty or safety,
they look at them as just useless lights in the sky.
What they don’t know is
These useless lights in the sky were given to us,
they were given to us by a titan of olympus.
That titan was
Atlas.
I don’t think its fair
his duty is to give us the constellations that guide us home when we’re lost.
And yet we give nothing in return.
Humanity runs past these beliefs as if they aren’t even there
they run past a world of safety.
This all reminds me of the world i live in right now.
People live in a world of hate love and kindness all together.
we see the same crap every day
people getting pushed down along with their beliefs,
they find the weakest person they can see and they either befriend them or become what people hate most...ä ¨bully.¨
“One's dignity may be assaulted, vandalized and cruelly mocked, but it can never be taken away unless it is surrendered.”
? Michael J. Fox
This is true
the only way we lose the fight against ourselves when it comes to bullying is if we surrender.
“Knowing what's right doesn't mean much unless you do what's right.”
? Theodore Roosevelt
The words of one of our presidents has been said through many.
These people that say these quotes most of them have experienced some type of form that is happening to you.
What happened to them isn’t as bad as it is now poep?e now are cruel judgemental and selfish.
so either we become the people that we used to be and stare up at the stars and pay our attention to atlas
Or we become the people that others mark us as and stay on the ground never being able to see the light, Stand up for your self create a better person than the ones that give you crap every day become… Atlas.
