Smoke
She’s a s***,
Screwing everybody she comes across
Letting everyone
Breathe her in.
I can’t win.
He loves her.
He is gentle to her, with his touch-
His lips-
Smiling when she’s sweet….Laughing when she’s rough.
I hurt his pride…He let me go.
She nearly killed him...twice.
He blames himself, keeping her close.
Money- spent on gifts of stained glass and painted ceramics-for Her.
I reckon it’s his new way of making love.
He’ll crawl into bed quietly, as if he could hide her,
Eyes twinkling from something more than me-
-The smell of her lingering in his hair and on his skin.
He asked me if I’d fancy being the third in their affair... I kissed her first.
He kisses me, and I taste her.
She’d already been with him hours.
Then he went at her, again...and again until they were all worn out.
She’s a poison.
I hate her.
I love him.
But,
I will not share him with her.
I will always be second- I know this.
I also know
His dearest love
Is
Breaking
His
Heart.
