The sudden note
first appears
with its light beauty
that rings in people's ears
Its darkened beauty
creeps into our hearts
as its light-filled tune
keeps the world in the dark
We crave its sweet song
as it pulls us far down
we drown in its words
'till our minds can't be found
It numbs down the pain
'till we can't feel at all
and we slowly drift off
as we hear its sad call
It fills up our hearts
'till we feel we can cope
it ignites a small fire
a feeling called hope
