Up high in the sky I know someone is watching over me

Maybe just someone who I once knew

Or God making sure I do right

But of now let it be an angel

An angel to protect me on this night

Whether it protects me outside or in

The gift of grass and meadows and wildflowers all live there

Sometimes I hear it sing to me

The echo of it's endless lullaby makes me sleepy

When I wake up I see that I'm laying in my angels arms

Could it be dad

Then in a snap I dart awake it was only a dream

He really isn't bake but I know he is watching me
