Falling in Love
The moment when you fall in love is indescribable,
unreal and remarkable.
It’s when you can see in their eyes,
all their flaws and mistakes,
yet you still adore every bit of them.
It’s when you know all the details about the person,
their favorites; likes and dislikes.
The things that make them tick.
The things that inspire them.
When you fall in love,
it seems like the world stops spinning.
Everything around you comes to a halt,
and your complete focus is on the other person.
When you look ahead in your life,
you see them by your side through it all.
It’s like they make the leaves change,
they make the sun shine,
they’re the reason you laugh,
the reason you’re alive.
And without them you’d be nothing at all.
You just hope that it never ends,
because then you’d be bruised.
Raw and wounded.
